Donald MacAulay, originally from the island of Great Bernera, Lewis, published his first and only volume of Gaelic poetry titled Seòbhrach às a’ Chloich in 1967. He is a master of his art and this new and long-awaited volume brings together a selection of previous poems from that volume as well as subsequent poems which have appeared in other locations with unseen work.
